Professional Experience:

Mr. Frick has been practicing law for over 25 years and is AV® rated by the Martindale- Hubble™ Law Directory. Mr. Frick’s practice is focused on the prosecution and defense of complex business and civil litigation matters, including intellectual property cases, as well as the general representation of business clients in the healthcare, banking, construction, marketing and real estate industries.

During the course of his career, Mr. Frick has tried numerous cases in both state and federal courts, representing clients in a variety of different industries on both the plaintiff and defense sides in business litigation matters concerning patent infringement, trademark infringement, copyright infringement, trade secret and proprietary information disputes, restrictive covenant cases, business torts, employment and discrimination matters, unfair business practices, professional malpractice litigation, breach of contract claims, and, a variety of business ownership disputes including those involving attempts to dissolve both corporations and limited liability companies. Mr. Frick has also resolved matters through both mediation and in arbitration proceedings before the American Arbitration Association and private arbitrators. Mr. Frick has significant experience representing businesses in matters filed against them by the Florida Attorney General and has also served as counsel for both plaintiffs and defendants in class action proceedings. Mr. Frick also assists clients and other lawyers in the areas of Appellate Practice and Attorneys’ Fees Litigation as well as in the areas of Trial Consulting and Litigation Strategy.

Mr. Frick received his J.D., cum laude, in 1990 from Stetson University College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Frick was listed in Who’s Who Among American Law Students (10th Edition 1990), served as an Editorial Member of the Stetson Law Review, and, his first legal article titled, Frick, The Right to Forego Life-Sustaining Procedures in Florida: Is Florida Cruzan-Proof?: 20 STETSON LAW REVIEW 519 (1991), was published in Volume 20 of the Stetson Law Review in 1991.

Following graduation from law school, Mr. Frick practiced law for over 20 years with large law firms having regional, national and even international practices until 2011 when he founded the Frick Law Group, P.A. with the vision of creating a business law firm that focuses on helping its clients build, grow and protect their businesses in ways that are innovative and effective as well as efficient.

Mr. Frick has been active in his local, state and national bar associations and was a founding member of the D.R. Smith American Inn of Court. When he isn’t working, Mr. Frick is also active in his local community coaching youth softball and participating in other outdoor activities including saltwater fishing and a variety of shooting sports.
